Natural stone lends itself beautifully to creating either a warm haven in the beige tones of limestone or travertine or a cool, airy space using classic marbles such as white carrara.
Combinations of texture and colour
Combine coloured glass mosaics with clean coloured stone such as Trevisan engineered stone to add detail and interest to a room. Create a focal point by choosing an unusual basin design and frame it in a contrasting colour stone or wood to complement the stone. Beautiful natural materials are timeless and withstand everyday wear and tear. Add a glass divide to create a spacious wet room area within the bathroom whilst still keeping a light airy feel.
Have it all in stone
Virtually any item in the bathroom with the exception perhaps of the taps and toilet can be made in stone. Why not co-ordinate the whole of the room with cladding for the walls, tiles for the floors and bath surrounds and vanity tops in the same stone creating your own luxurious spa?
