stone for Hermes at Harrods

stoneCIRCLE supplied and installed the marble for the new Hermes boutique in Harrods, London

Namibian White, Brown Stone and Tarahumara marbles

The floor was created using Namibian White in the centre with parallel strips of Thassos running width-wise and Brown Stone marble at the sides of the corridors. Brown Stone was also used on the walls as skirting and edging for some display panels. Selected areas of the walls and some plinths were clad in Tarahumara marble panels.

All materials were sourced in Italy during visits by the client team and Steve Vanhinsbergh, one of stoneCIRCLE’s directors.  stoneCIRCLE made full use of their Slabsmith photo station, photographing the marble for the walls, columns and counters and then matching the veins to produce the very best results.
