Studio Franzén which opened on the top floor of Harrods has won the Europe - In Another Space category in the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards 2023.  The restaurant in the chain run by Björn Frantzén serves his signature Nordic food influenced by Asian and French cuisine, and the restaurant décor also reflects this with a luxurious re-interpretation of Scandinavian design.

Square lattice work on marquetry used for the furniture is echoed on the floors, where a geometric grid of terrazzo has been inlaid with Verde Antigua marble in some areas and Rosso Barocco marble in others.  In all, we cut 15000 squares out of the terrazzo and inserted 15000 marble inserts, before grinding the surface to a honed finish, and sending them to site to be installed by the contractor.

The company also fabricated the vanities for the restaurant washroom in Rosso Barocco.
